Sixth form life at Wolverhampton Grammar School is about challenge, and it is about commitment. A-levels will challenge you intellectually, and you will need to be committed to succeed here.

If you are excited by the prospect of learning, are stimulated by the idea of extra-curricular involvement in sports, music, drama, outdoor pursuits, foreign travel and much more, then Wolverhampton Grammar School is just the place for you.

For most the next logical step is university, and we have a proud tradition of getting students the high grades that will qualify them for the top courses in the country. For others, the world of work or the gap year may beckon.

Application Procedure

To take up a place in our sixth form, you will need to have achieved:

  • 6 GCSE’s at Grade B or above, to include Mathematics and English Language.

This gives you an idea of what you should be aiming to achieve in your GCSE exams next summer.

To register for a place in the sixth form at Wolverhampton Grammar School you should complete the Sixth Form Application Form and send it to our Admissions Secretary.

As there is a considerable amount of administration involved in the application procedure, we charge a small registration fee of £25. This is non-refundable. Please send the registration fee with your form. We are unable to register your application until the registration fee is received.
