Introduction

Sixth Form

This section on the website and the main School Prospectus outline our school philosophy and describe the sort of students who fit in well here whether they join us in the Lower School or at 16.

It’s not just busy 10 and 11 year-olds who thrive at Wolverhampton Grammar School: the A level (AS/A2) candidates who score the highest grades are invariably those who have also got the most out of all the other aspects of WGS life by taking leading roles in drama, music, debating, the student council, community service or one of the huge range of sports on offer. We will outline the steps to gaining a sixth form place at Wolverhampton Grammar School and the scholarships that may be available to you. The subjects that can be studied at AS and A2 are listed in the appropriate section.

I hope to welcome you as a Sixth Form student in the future.
