One of the region’s leading independent schools will open its doors to prospective students and their parents at its annual Open Event on Saturday 7th October.

Children who are due to start secondary school in September 2007 and their parents are invited to visit Wolverhampton Grammar to gain a taster of life at the school.

The doors will be open from 10am until 1pm. There will be another Open Event on Monday 16th October from 5pm – 7.30pm.

Visitors will be able to try out science experiments, watch demonstrations in the Design and Technology department, view oil paintings, visit a French Café and observe various lessons in progress. Also in attendance is the school OpAL (OPportunities for Assisted Learning) unit for prospective students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs).
