Wolverhampton Grammar School presents its latest production of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory next week.
The show runs from Wednesday to Thursday evening (23rd to 25th) at 7.30pm in the Derry Building at the School on the Compton Road.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is based on a children's book by British author Roald Dahl. The story of the adventures of young Charlie Bucket inside the chocolate factory of eccentric confectioner Willy Wonka is often considered one of the most beloved children's stories of the 20th century.
The show promises children being sucked up pipes, inflated by blueberry juice, mauled by squirrels and shrunk to the size of a runner bean. Tickets are available from the reception at Wolverhampton Grammar School.
This is the final show before the Arts and Drama departments at Wolverhampton Grammar School move to the new £3.2 million complex on the Merridale Road.
